The Terrace Suite


The Terrace Suite at The Puffin is located on historic Jackson Street in Cape May.  Only 1/2 block to the beach and 1/2 block to the Washington Street Pedestrian Mall where you will discover many fine shops and restaurants. You’ll be staying at one of the most centrally located homes in Cape May. The recently updated Terrace Suite features two bedrooms with queen size beds, and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The suite also includes a full kitchen and a full bathroom with a bathtub.  We accept weekly rentals during the summer season and two night minimum stays during the off-season.

The Terrace Suite is a large ground-level suite offering 2 bedrooms, a recently updated living/kitchen area and a full, updated bathroom. Located in the heart of Historic Cape May, The Terrace Suite offers all of the modern conveniences to ensure a comfortable and stress-free stay.

Our fully equipped kitchen is complete with granite counters, oven, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave. Featuring a Queen-sized bed in each bedroom and a Queen Sleeper sofa in the living room, this suite accommodates up to 6 guests. Other amenities include central air conditioning, outdoor shower, reserved on-site parking for one car, parking permit for a second car (off-site) and free Wi-Fi connection. There is a 50" flat screen television in the living room and a 28" flat screen in the Master bedroom. A rear two step down private entrance makes The Terrace an ideal choice for families and seniors.  Our beautiful wrap-around porch provides a perfect perch for people watching, socializing, or just relaxing and dreaming the day away…Cape May style.

We are open year round, so come often to enjoy an amazing vacation in the summer, Victorian Week and Oktoberfest in the fall, a festive Victorian Christmas celebration in December, the singer-songwriter weekends in the Spring, in addition to the many other festivals and special events throughout the year. We are situated ½ block from the beach and ½ block from Washington Pedestrian Mall. Location is key…and there is no better location in Cape May than 32 Jackson Street!

Note to our extremely tall guests~ the ceiling in this apartment is lower than the current standard height.

During the Summer Rental Season 6/15/24 through 8/30/24 (6/14/2025 through 8/29/2025) we accept only weekly (Saturday to Saturday) bookings. We have a two night minimum stay policy during the rest of the year, except some holiday weekends which require a 3 night minimum. Please view the Booking and Availability calendar for daily rates.

Rental Policies and Conditions

Payments Accepted: Credit Cards, Personal Checks.

The Terrace does not allow smoking or pets. To keep our home beautiful for your enjoyment, a cleaning fee of $130.00 is charged per reservation. Guests are responsible to bring their own bed linens as well as bath and beach towels. If desired, linens may be rented from one of several local linen rental services.  A list of these services will be provided upon request. All reservations require a $100.00 refundable damage deposit. Please review our rental lease at check-out for complete details on our rental policies.
